This 100% peat-free compost makes an effective growing medium for hungry plants like mature trees and crops, but also for roses and clematis flowering plants. It contains sheep’s wool and bracken, blended perfectly to give you productive and well-performing flowering plants.

Bracken has been proven to foster high levels of potash which is essential for flowering. With naturally increased levels of iron and magnesium, your plants will be nourished all round for excellent root growth and lush foliage too.

Sheep’s wool holds water well, this benefits you, the gardener by supporting flowers in times of drought. The proteins in wool break down allowing nitrogen to be released gradually. This then acts as a slow release fertiliser, essential for feeding plants over a full growing season.

Now with added Comfrey! – the organic gardeners best friend – a ‘dynamic accumulator’ packed with nutrients is added into the Wool Compost range. Grown sustainably at Dalefoot farm, Comfrey's ‘Bocking 14’ variety has high levels of potassium, phosphorous & nitrogen for healthy plant growth, larger flowers & bigger crops.
