Dwarf French bean ‘Dorado’ produces large harvests of golden yellow beans, held high above the foliage and easy to pick. This strong, disease resistant to all major bean diseases dwarf French bean is ideal for containers and small gardens.

Sow indoors

Sow individually 5cm (2in) deep in clean pots or modules of compost. Water well. Keep warm.

Sow outdoors

Sow direct into the required harvest position, 5cm (2in) deep, 10cm (4in) apart. Allow 30cm (12in) between rows. Keep soil moist at all times.

Plant out

Plant out 10cm (4in) apart. Allow 30cm (12in) between rows.

Tips

Water generously. Pick young beans regularly for best flavour and longest cropping period.
