The Kent & Stowe Eversharp™ Bypass Secateurs feature a unique blade constructed with aerospace coated technology, resulting in a blade that is 100 times harder and stronger than the average blade. With a beautiful superior chassis, these secateurs are incredibly sharp, long-lasting and anti-rust to make the perfect item for all your cutting needs.
Ideal for dead heading roses, shrubs and pruning live wood. Includes a wire cutting notch and wooden handles for traditional comfort.
How to use:
- Use bypass secateurs to cut and trim green, young and soft wood
- Bypass feature twin sharpened blades that create a clean, exact and healthy cut as the two blades pass over each other
- Bypass is less likely to damage delicate stems and is, therefore, more suitable for this type of pruning and also ideal for roses, shrubs and pruning of general green live wood.
Kent & Stowe Eversharp™ cutting tools come with a 10-year guarantee.

How to care for your secateurs
Taking care of secateurs means they will continue to perform at their peak. We recommend that you don't leave your secateurs outside when not in use. Wipe them after use, and allow them to completely dry. Store them away in a dry environment, such as your greenhouse, shed or garage. Even in dry weather conditions your tools, if left outside, are exposed to moisture from wet grass and dew.
For all wood handled tools such as these secateurs you can even apply a light coating of boiled linseed oil to help prevent the wood from drying out and cracking. If the wooden handle is very dirty, remove as much of the soil as possible. If you need to use water, gently wet the handle with a damp cloth, making sure that you don’t soak the wood, as this may cause the grain to lift and the handle to swell.
