Description
Grow mini lettuces for yourself on your own plot and savour the almost creamy, buttery taste of every leaf.
Packed full of vitamins every head of your mini-lettuces provides a perfect sphere of healthy leaves. Suitable to grow in beds or in VegTrugs this collection allows you to reap the rewards whether you have a small courtyard, a balcony or a large garden.
We recommend you sow little and often for a continual supply of tasty, fresh young leaves from June to October. It just takes around three to four weeks from germinating to harvesting so it's not long to see your hard work being paid off.
You receive one packet each of:
- Lettuce Little Gem - The one supermarkets sell by name, but taste the difference when you grow your own! Compact heads of simply outstanding taste.
- Lettuce Tom Thumb - Very sweet and juicy little butterhead lettuce. Quick-maturing making it a great choice for children to grow. Sow little and often to extend the cropping period. Can also be used as baby leaves.
- Lettuce Amaze - with sparkling red and green tender leaves. Produces a really good crop in just a few weeks.
