These three varieties have been selected to provide good crops of peas throughout summer:

Pea 'Ruselargo' is a very strong maincrop pea producing a plentiful crop of pods filled with sweet, succulent peas. It has very good disease resistance, especially to powdery mildew.
- 'Kelvedon Wonder' is an early variety which produces heavy crops of well-filled pods. Not only are its peas full of delicious flavour, but the pea shoots with their clean, fresh flavour are popular in many a kitchen dish.
- Pea ‘Hurst Green Shaft’ is a splendidly reliable maincrop variety with pods holding up to 10 exceptionally sweet-flavoured peas. A heavy cropper with good disease resistance, it holds the RHS Award of Garden Merit, and is a good choice for freezing.
Plant 7-8cm apart in rows 60cm apart. Prelado and Kelvedon Wonder will grow to around 60cm; Alderman is slightly taller at around 90cm.
