With raised drainage holes it’s easy for excess soil water to drain away, so the soil in your seeds trays is adequately moist without becoming saturated. The roots of your seedlings love this environment and turn into healthy young plants just before the potting on stage.

Useful Tips:

At sowing time we recommend that you fill your half seed tray with specially-formulated Seeds & Cuttings Compost and lightly sprinkle your seeds on top at a rate that they cover the surface but don’t touch or overcrowd each other. Sprinkle a thin layer of vermiculite on top, label and date your seeds and plunge the tray in a shallow dish of water for half an hour or so.
