Create an outdoor carpet of colour and scent from this lovely sweet pea mix and heighten the pleasure you get from your garden. Grow in a row in a vegetable patch too and bring in useful pollinating insects which stick around to pollinate the flowers of peas and beans.

The flowers of this mix remain perfectly-formed throughout the summer season and exude a captivating fragrance as you walk nearby.

For carpets of colour sow from February to August. Plant directly into the ground or sow in garden trays. Ensure that your soil is well drained and fertilised before planting and plant at a depth of 8-12mm our handy seeder is great for making this a simple job.

How to grow

Sow seeds on to the surface of pre-watered seed compost, but don't cover them. Keep warm, around 20°C and keep moist, but not wet. Allow 1-2 weeks for germination.
