How to Guide

Sow indoors

January-April: Sow individually, in clean 9cm (3 1⁄2in) pots or module trays of firm pre watered compost, cover with 1cm (1⁄2in) of vermiculite or sieved compost. Place in warmth 18°C (65°F) and keep moist at all times.

Grow on

At 10-15°C (50-60°F) until late May. When established, plant into a patio pot 30cm (12in) or grow bag and leave in a cool frost free greenhouse or place in a sunny sheltered position when risk of frost has passed.

Tips

Water well and feed regularly with liquid fertiliser once fruit starts to swell. Tie stems to a support as they grow and remove side shoots.
