This little known but beautiful lavender blue annual is worth a place in any garden.

Its blooms are produced freely from early to mid summer and are attractive to hoverflies, which destroy aphids!

Lovely in borders and informal plantings.

Freely produces mounds of silvery blue flowers from early to mid-summer and are perfect cottage garden plants.
The flowers are a magnet for bees and hoverflies so grow some near your veg plot so the hoverflies will eat your aphids too!

How to grow

Sow seeds on to the surface of pre-watered seed compost, but don't cover them. Keep warm, around 20°C and keep moist, but not wet. Allow 1-2 weeks for germination.
