This aubergine decoration has been hand-embroidered using the Zari technique. It is enhanced by the addition of beads in shades of purple, green and gold giving it more of a glow and more texture. This style of embroidery originated in Central Asia in the 12th century and is known for it's ornate and sumptuous designs - perfect for a touch of class this Christmas.
This aubergine would make the ideal decoration for the Christmas tree, and perfect for the garden lover. You could also use it as a decoration on a string. It would make a great talking point and will definitely catch the eye.
