This handmade honey bee has been embroidered using the intricate Zari technique, giving the decoration added dimension. Beads in shades of black, white and a bright honey yellow have been added to enhance the decoration even more, giving it a glow. This style of embroidery originated in Central Asia in the 12th century and is known for it's ornate and sumptuous designs - perfect for a touch of class this Christmas.
