- Good ground cover for shade
- Colourful and textured
- Hardy in the UK
This pond plant, otherwise called water celery or Japanese parsley, will provide beautiful colour to your pond from as early as March. The crinkle tipped leaves produce tricolour foliage with white and pink edges on the leaves which are what gives this variety the name 'Flamingo'. Throughout the summer the plant offers fragrant pretty white lacey flowers with five petals.
A great easy to grow pond plant which will naturally help maintain a clean and healthy pond. The plant will rapidly spread across the pond surface creating shade for wildlife.
The leaves are edible and are very popular in dishes in many countries from as far as South East Asia to closer to the UK in Italy.
